Frustrating and Disappointing

The sales managers were pushy, condescending, and sneaky. This is the second time I have leased from them and both times they tried to do a bait and switch by running numbers on a similar, less expensive car, and trying to get me to say yes to the purchase. Luckily, I’m not your typical female and I caught their game immediately and called them out, so I got a great car at a great price. (Though the price I agreed to was $3 higher when I went to sign the paperwork, but they messed up the mileage agreement so I signed for 12,000 miles rather than 10,000.) After the purchase, however, service was atrocious. I called on a Tuesday and told them I’d be bringing the car in on Thursday night for a part replacement (that THEY set up) but I needed a loaner to get home and get to work the next day. Yeah, no problem, I was told. Show up Thursday night, no loaner. In their defense, some of the older salespeople tried to find a way to get me a car but just couldn’t. They told me to come back in the morning before work (not ideal) and to see Chris in service as he would have the loaner for me. I drove back home (luckily I’m only a mile and a half away) and showed up at 8am the next morning. Chris in service had no clue what I was talking about, and insisted they had no loaners for me. No one even tried to help me problem solve until I went back to them and told them they HAD to get me a car so I could get to work. In the end, they dropped me off at work and promised they would make a way for me to get back to pick up my car later. They did do all the work well, clean up the car beautifully, and fill up my gas tank, but the final nail in the coffin was when they called me to set up a time to deliver my car back to me (which I did appreciate) and they told me, “Oops, we messed up the mileage when you signed your paperwork, we’ll bring you the paperwork to sign for 10,000 miles.” I very politely explained that the price I signed for was $3 higher than I was told so I didn’t want to change the mileage. The manager offered to lower the payment the $3 and go to 10,000 miles, and when I politely declined again, he rudely said “Fine!” and hung up on me.
