Dealership Sales Review
Yesterday we came in to purchase a used vehicle. This was our second visit. Our salesman sat at a desk with us and began looking over options. A tall skinny white man, with facial hair came over and told our salesman that we needed to move desks so he could work at ‘his’ desk. Okay, we moved. Within two minutes another guy (foreign decent) came over and threw his hands up. He stated he needed to speak with Elvis. Elvis walked with him and I could hear the guy saying ‘I am working a deal with someone twelve hours away! I need my desk!’ Elvis walked over and apologized and sat down. The other male said ‘enjoy!’ With attitude and walked away. I don’t know how this place works but I can tell you that knowing my salesman couldn’t sit at a desk to work a deal made me feel unwanted and unworthy of being at this dealership. If it weren’t for Elvis, I would have walked out and taken my business elsewhere. To be super clear on which individuals I am talking about so they can get proper training on customer service, respect, and treating people with common curtesy; these two males sit at the last desks on the right of finance as you walk into the door that faces the road. Fast forward. We obtained financing and were told we had to get insurance before the deal could be finalized. Okay, time to call State Farm at 645PM. After sitting on the phone for over an hour I finally had insurance for my new vehicle. We sit down with Heather to finish up our paperwork and she makes it very clear she is done working for the day and she’s going to rush through our paperwork. I completely understand when your day is supposed to end you want to leave but PLEASE don’t make customers feel like they are an inconvenience to you. You need more people like Elvis so that I could have given this dealerships a five star rating!
