Service 2014 Silverado 1500 Frame Rust

The service was great and thanks for the loaner car under warranty. I was told that I could receive a car when I called to make the appt. When I showed up I was asked if I had reserved a loaner car. I was never asked this when I made the appt. I believe it should have been scheduled then. Luckily there was a car available or else it would have been a wasted trip. I just can't believe how bad the frame is rusting in 1 year. I really think I should have received a notice in the mail to come in and have this done earlier. I'm really worried about the long term issues with the frame.
