Town & Country Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram
Dealership Sales Review
I’m not sure where to begin. First off, I will never go to this dealership again. Town & Country Jeep located in Levittown. Before my horrendous experience on March 3, 2016 I was in contact with two representatives from this dealership. I expressed to a Luis Mario Gonzales and a Yaneek Davis that I was very interested in purchasing a vehicle however, I did not want to make a trip out to their dealership which was located 45 minutes from my house if we could not get the number for the vehicle close to my budget. They told me to come down anyway, that they wanted to earn my business and that when I get to the Dealership (Preowned Location) to ask for a David and he will take care of me. After multiple emails back and forth throughout the afternoon (March 3rd), I received a phone call from Yaneek Davis and she expressed to me to come down and she will meet me and then David would take over. I confirmed the Time and said I would meet her later. When I got to the dealership, I had a strange vibe and by the time I went into their Preowned Store, there were only two Gentlemen and no Luis Mario or Yaneek Davis to be found. The Gentlemen that did help me, was for the most part respectable and helpful. He was able to get me to see the vehicle and test drive it. When it was time to talk numbers the Dealership didn’t know about THE CU AUTO COUPON that they participate in that would grant me $300 discount on the final price of the car. They also try to charge me two Ridiculous Fees: (1) Transportation fee – A $475 charge passed on to the consumer because the Dealership gets their cars from auctions and (2) Prep Fee – a $695 charge passed on to the consumer because the dealership I guess cleans the car for you as well. It was then that with our difference I knew I would not be able to make the deal happen. Also the price they gave me was the price if I ended up financing through them, even though I told them that I received financing through my credit union. The guy said I’m getting a good rate but if I wanted the deal I would have to go through them – basically so the bank would give them a kickback from bringing them business. Finally to top this all, 40 minutes into speaking with the Gentlemen, I received a call from Yaneek Davis. During this phone conversation I expressed to her that we were not going to be able to make the deal because my number and their number were $1,500 dollars apart. I voiced my frustration with them, since I left work early to travel 45 mins away to their dealership. The time it takes to travel from Medford, NY to Levittown, NY. As this conversation only lasted 3 minutes, Yaneek Davis hung up the phone on me. So this to say the least was not a pleasant experience and I will remember to tell my friends, family and clients on what to expect if they ever deal with TOWN & COUNTRY JEEP in Levittown, New York.
