Dealership Sales Review
Went in to lease a brand new truck. Salesman was decent, usual lines how they were the best, we don't lie here, we're here for you. Shopped a few dealerships and even though not the rock bottom lowest, located near my home so wanted to deal with these guys and they knew that. Came to a deal-truck was available. Next morning, truck was apparently sold--manager didn't realize. No biggie to me, was told he has 200 trucks between two lots, lets pick another one. Prints out another truck--was the $1000 difference in price that concerned me---but it didnt have side steps. So, instead of looking for another truck, tried to convince me to buy that one and pay extra to have the steps. Told me that since it was a lease--I'd have to pay. other dealerships were looking to throw the steps in for free on trucks that didnt have them. When I went back with a truck I bought from someone else--boy were they red. Cursing at me and telling me they didn't want my business---that I was a grinder.(is that an insult?) yeah I shopped around for 2 weeks like a smart consumer. I found out, that's their number 1 enemy. [non-permissible content removed] with lots of tricks and I didnt even get to the finance manager---imagine the crap when I got that far. AVOID AVOID AVOID
