Land Rover Huntington

I came in for an oil change and after the full car inspection I was told I needed rear brakes. I was rather surprised as the car just 30,000 miles. I was assured by my wonderful service advisor Heather that it was normal and that, it was surprising that I had gone that long without brake wear, as the usual for RR/LR products is 18-20,000 miles. While I was not pleased with he price, or the news that RR uses soft pads in order to minimize brake noise, I consented to the service because I did not want to ride with worn brakes, and "only" have it serviced at LR of Huntington. It is now several months since the brake job; car is fine, no brake noise and all is well. My compliments to Heather, who was patient, explained everything, made sure car was finished when promised, and obtained a loaner so I did not have to wait forever. LR Huntington has great service and Heather is a gem. Would recommend dealership without reservation, and always recommend deer service, despite sky high prices for service,
