Dealership Service Review
We called the dealership twice and received a recording advising us to leave our name and number and someone would call us back to make the appointment for our initial service visit. No one called back. We finally got in touch with the service coordinator and she made our appointment. Upon entering the service area we were told to talk to a service rep inside and we were told what they were going to do during this visit. The car is a discovery sport and had less than 6000 miles on it. The rep said that they would align the tires, we asked why do we need an alignment and we were told that it’s necessary on the initial service. We were not happy, but left the vehicle. The estimate they gave us, time wise, was correct and two and one half hours later we went to pick up the car. The bill was $941.00 plus tax. We took the car and vowed that we would never return to this dealer for service. $300.00 for an alignment and $178.00 per hour for labor on a brand new car.
