Bronx Honda
Dealership Sales Review
I had spoke to a couple of people on the phone and they had confirmed the price of a car for me included all fees except taxes and DMV. I was happy with the price and made the trek out to this dealer. Upon arrival I was personally handed off to another sales person, an eventually presented with a priced that was $95 more than what was over the phone, which is fine, not going to argue over $95. However, there was an additional add on of $299 for Doc Fees. That is not a part of taxes or DMV, so that should not have been an added item to our price. Based on my research for NY Dealers, the doc fee should only be, max, $75. I wanted to speak to the Manager to address this, and eventually he came over and we spoke in a back office with our original sales person. The manager started of by commenting that yelling will not be tolerated, which I agree is counter-productive, but do people yell a lot that he has to say that? The Salesperson I spoke to over the phone was apologetic and calm, however the manager was dismissive and just offered us another hundred off the fees that were supposedly standard for all vehicles. Once I knew there was no more to be discussed I left and would rather pay more elsewhere than deal with this dealership. Be wary of what they tell you and get everything in writing, words to live by.
