Failure Honor Savings Card

Before writing this review I have waited four days for the dealership to contact me in regard to my issue. After leaving a message with the Service department as well as emailing customer service, I have not received any follow up. At the last service repair I had for my car I planned to use the "savings card" which was mailed and emailed to me from the dealership. The card allows for 15% discount on the total amount of any service repairs. At the time of pickup and payment I asked the cashier whether the 15% was deducted from the bill. She replied yes. I paid the bill and then I received a receipt. After reviewing the receipt I realized that the 15% was not deducted. I went back and asked the cashier about the mistake. She stated that she thought the $50 amount on the bill was the 15% deduction(which it was not). She then called the service person who was working on my car. He agreed that the 15% was supposed to be deducted. He then said he could not refund the amount because the transaction had already went through. I asked him to cancel that transaction and re-do it for the correct amount. He stated it could not be done. He offered an item from the gift shop or a credit for a future service. I declined and stated that I wanted a refund. He adamantly stated there was nothing that could be done to refund the money. I also asked for the refund to be mailed once they were able to figure out how to conduct a refund. I was told that could not happen. When I stated that it was completely unreasonable that they could not do a refund or simply cancel the transaction and re-do it, the service person went to speak to someone else. He then returned and told me that, I would have to return home(30 min away from dealership) and bring the physical card back in order to be able to receive a refund. I had the card available for viewing on my phone via an email the dealership had sent to me just four days before. He refused to use that. At that point I left the dealership, as I felt it was ridiculous to continue since I was getting no where. Upon leaving I immediately called the service dept. and left a message asking the service manager to contact me and I also emailed customer service. I have not received a response to date. I am terribly dissatisfied at the service and the dealerhip's refusal to honor their own certificate which they issued to me. This has left a very sour taste in my mouth for this dealership. As a customer, they should appreciate my business and when they make a mistake, work to correct it. Even after acknowledging that the discount applied and should have been deducted they failed to refund the money. I did plan to purchase another vehicle from Habberstad, as I WAS pleased with their service and considered them to be a quality dealership. Unfortunately, when I am ready to upgrade my car to a newer vehicle, it will NOT be with this dealership. I have a choice where to spend my money, and I will spend it with businesses who honor their word and advertisements and who make customer satisfaction as a priority. In my last experience with Habberstad Bayshore, they did not do either of the above. I also will not suggest their dealership to my many colleagues. Habberstad of Bayshore = Total Disappointment!
