Dealership Service Review
I bought a 2008 X5 which had 33K miles, and several problems, from day one! 1st the navigation unit had to be completely replaced the 1st week, then I had 4 different engine malfunctions, within 18 months! This was the most unreliable car I've ever owned, and apparently the service techs could not fix the electronic issues. The 3rd time I brought it in with the Engine Malfunction issue, I let the service rep know how unhappy I was, but he didn't seem interested, or to really care. That day, I decided to trade it in, because I can't trust it, especially on a road trip. I was trading it in the next day, after the 3rd time they serviced it, due to engine malfunctions, and I got the same message on the way to the Chevy dealer to get rid of it! Thank God they still took this completely unreliable, inept vehicle, after I limped into the lot with it!! I bought a Chevy Tahoe that I love, and I know will be way more dependable than that BMW!
