I wanted to buy the RDX with Tech Package. The dealer online quoted me a price of $34,580 which I was willing to pay. So when I schedule to test drive the car before I buy it, the salesman decided to raise the price by A THOUSAND dollars to $35,580. The rep told me that the boss had a meeting with the staff late that night and decided to raise all prices due to the earthquake in Japan. I was told that their current inventory of vehicles, that they paid for many months ago before the earthquake happened were affected somehow (the rep didn't exactly told me how their current lot of cars was affected) but that they would have to raise the price by $1,000 more. I was surprised and upset by this about face treatment I received that I lost taste for this dealership. How can you offer me a quote and the next day recant it and raise it by another $1,000? Can anybody just do that these days? This dealership is UNETHICAL, UNCONSCIONABLE, and Not trustworthy. Trust me STAY AWAY from this dealership and take your business elsewhere. To make matters worst, the rep told me that the MDX buyers are now switching to the RDX inventory because it saves more gas and that the RDX are going fast and that their online inventory is NEVER EVER accurate anyway and that I should never pay attention to their website. Imagine that? She pulled a fast one on me by telling me that she now has an excuse why I should pay the $1,000 price increase! Because it's going fast and I should just pay for it. I heard that all before and in this market economy, she must really think we are all naive to think that their lot of RDX is selling like hotcakes off their lots. Shame on this dealership. Stay away!
