Performance Ford Lincoln

This dealership is the type of dishonest, deceitful, bait & switch dealership that the car sales industry is known for. I attempted to buy a used 2018 Ford Edge that was low mileage and after I researched the VIN #, found out it was off-lease and Performance Ford bought it auction for about $15K. They wanted close the $27K for it. It was a low mileage vehicle and that made it attractive, but the car had been on the lot for more than 6 weeks when I approached the dealership and they would not budge on the price. I walked. The car sat there for another 4 weeks before it sold and I guess some sucker paid close to asking price. This dealer is not interested in doing deals that leave the customer satisfied or willing to come back to buy again. They are very short sighted and only interested in short term profits. They recently purchased ED CARNEY FORD in E. Hanover, NJ and that branch is just as dishonest as the main branch in Randolph. Another thing they seem to do that is annoying is keep the Ford Edges in E. Hanover and the Lincoln versions of the same vehicles in Randolph, forcing customers to drive out of their way to see the Ford versions. Avoid this dealer like you would the plague.
