Ramsey INFINITI
Dealership Sales Review
In July, 2006, Ramsey Infinity settled a lawsuit filed on August 17, 2005 by the NJ Attorney General that alleged violations of the state's Consumer Fraud Act. They paid a fine of $250,000, made restitution of $156,000 and promised to change their business practices. We bought a 2008 M35X about a month ago. The financing documents they sent to Infinity Financial Services over-inflated the price of the car by $3,000. They buried the negative equity in the trade. They did not give us copies of either the Vehicle Purchase Order or Invoice. We have been unsuccessful in getting this resolved. Surprisingly, Infinity Customer Service (corporate) has not been helpful, nor has IFS. We are filing a complaint with the NJ Attorney General on Monday. Numerous requests for original copies of documentation have yielded nothing. We have cancelled the Repair and Maintenance Agreements repeatedly, and cannot get anyone to respond, nor reduce the financing contract by the $6590 we were charged. Every line item in the complaint filed against them by NJ A.G. with regard to the fraudulent practices they engage in for new car purchase and financing is at issue in our situation. Stay away from this dealer. They are not honest people. If you want to buy an Infinity in the NJ area, stay away from this dealer.
