Dealership Sales Review
I went to test drive 3 vehicles (CIVIC, PILOT, ODYSSEY - booked the appointment online) on 30th July. I asked for the person who made the appointment but no one bothered to call that person or message them about my arrival. I had experienced the worst customer service ever. First I met with a guy named Ryan Hoey. When I told him that I haven't made up my mind on what vehicle I would buy, i.e., CIVIC/Odyssey/Pilot, since I have never driven Honda before, he refused to show me any, as he thought I couldn't afford to buy a Honda. He tried to scare me with the price tag of Honda Pilot, out rightly insulting me. It is very insulting and hilarious at the same time, for someone who used to owned two European cars (at the same time!) and a jerk thinks you cannot afford Honda. When I persisted on test driving 'a' vehicle, he coldly let me 'test drive' a Honda Odyssey in their parking lot. Until he saw my name on the screen with a 'Dr' in front, he didn't realise he was talking to someone who can 'afford' to buy Honda. Realising he messed it up, he called another sales guy, who was nice to me, at least salvaging part of the situation. I emailed my complaint to their general manager, who responded 9 days back saying that someone will call to fix the problem. I waited but no one bothered to call me until now, showing their lack of customer relationship management. I can only hope that their team learns to respect people NOT based on appearance but their affordability. I am buying a car from other dealers shortly.
