Route 22 Honda

I went there after being told that they had a particular model in stock. Got there and was told that the person read the inventory wrong and that it was on a boat that should get there in 2 weeks. Whatever. We still tried to negotiate a price for the car and got them to a number that they proposed. We walked away since we wanted to think about it. Called them the same day to see if the price was still good and they said yes. We come back and they tell us that the price is no longer good. After trying to explain to them what it means to honor a deal, they would not budge. They even told us that if they sold it to us at that price then they would try to sell it at a higher price to another customer to get out of the deal. They would basically take our deposit and try to sell the car to someone else. I can't believe they admitted to that. They tried to come down to the original agreed upon price but we walked away again. They even tried to pad the invoice with VIN etching. Unbelieveable. You can't do business with people you can't trust to uphold their end of the deal.
