Kundert Volvo Cars of Hasbrouck Heights
Dealership Service Review
Edmunds, Brought my car in with an engine check light back in July 2023 (P0301 cylinder 1 misfire). They changed all spark plugs. Same code came up again in December 2023. They changed the coil. Before I left the lot the check engine light came up again. Puzzled they just erased code and sent me on my way. February 2024 check engine came on with same code plus a P0304 (misfire cylinder 4). did compression ...nothing. Did not want to change fuel injectors (usually a step after spark and coil replacement). Concerned that the Volvo extended warranty company would not concur. Deleted code and sent me home. So, Kundert Volvo could not solve the problem (times 4) yet charged me for my first and second attempts in which neither helped or corrected the problem. Only saw the manager, Mike when I initially brought my car in and he never spoke to me again while my car was there for two days. If it shows up again I will consider bringing it to another Volvo dealer (extended warrantee only applies to Volvo repair?) and see if they are any better to diagnose and fix.
