McGee Toyota of Epping
Dealership Service Review
I have been coming here since it was Hurlbert Toyota. Service has slipped. Staff very friendly, but two things I have noticed. One is if you pay your service bill with a credit card they add 3% on to bill. May seem like a small thing but it is not good business. Secondly, my last service which was Saturday, when I got back in my car it was clear service tech did not wear gloves and I had grease or dirt (with hand prints) all over the car. Normally, I would have turned around once I noticed it. Except I was running late to meet my wife for dinner. She was not happy when she sat in the dirt on way to restaurant. I happen to be looking for a new car and while waiting for my car he was knowledgeable, no pressure etc. Liked him but I can't say same about dealership. Seems to me they have eliminated family feel as they own other dealerships in MA. Lobby was empty of cars and they have remodeled lobby to eliminate costs. Honestly, can't say I will go back after 9 or 10 years. I have been patient with little things like their website to schedule service. Horrible cust experience website. So, I always called. It works and this may work in MA, but these issues for me are red flags and I am now hesitant to by new car from them. Deteriorating service has been on my mind for awhile and this last experience was enough for me to call my old dealership and start looking for a new car with them. It is about 15 miles longer ride but they were consistent.
