Hoping for a better experience

I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary of the purchase of a 2016 Honda Pilot from Dover Honda. I am completing the service survey experience I had on April 14th 2016. I wanted to wait some time before responding. I received a spring travel special from Dover Honda that included an oil change and tire rotation, brake inspection, vacuum and tire pressure check for 49.99 The coupon was good until April 15th. I was very happy to take advantage of the opportunity and have my Pilot inspected at the same time. Here is what resulted. I was greeted by the service manager and I drove my Pilot into the service bay. I left my car and went to the waiting area. After about 30 minutes the service manager came out to the waiting area to informed me that the environmental air filter needed replacement. So I asked to see the filter that needed replacement. It looked like a filter that one would expect after 14,000 miles of use and with a tap of the filter some of the collected particulates fell out. The recommended change on such a filter by Honda is 30,000 miles. I asked to speak to the dealership manager at the time. I inquired about replacing the filter and he suggested that we go back and look at the filter which I appreciated. As we walked towards the service bay the dealership manager informed me that the suggested environmental filter replacement was based on California standards. I am not sure what that means? Upon examining the filter the manager encouraged the replacement. When I had originally examined the filter it looked in the condition one would expect after 14,000 miles of ware and tear. The filter was replaced. The cost of the replacement was over 53 dollars. After about an hour and 15 minutes I spoke to the service manger as he was presenting the bill to the cashier. So I ended up paying over 140 dollars for the routine maintenance, washing and cleaning, air filter replacement and inspection. I am not questioning the cost of service provided but not sure the filter really needed to be replaced but decided rely on experts at Dover Honda. However, when I left Dover Honda and drove home to find out that the tire pressure in the two front tires was 35 PSI and two rear tires at 30 PSI. The car had been washed but the interior of the car had been quickly wiped down not cleaned and the middle and back seats had never seen a vacuum. This was not the same cleaning I had experienced with my second oil change. I enjoy my Pilot only wished that my most recent service experience with Dover Honda had been better. They informed me that based on the color of the filter, the filter should be replaced. The filter could have gone a little longer but wanted to change it while you were here for service as not to cause an inconvenience of you needing to come back.
