After 4 dealerships and 3 alignments These guys appear to have gotten it right. I have about 1,200 miles towing (18,000lbs) on the truck since the folks at Lithia performed the alignment and tire wear is what I'd expect. I can tow with it and not wrestle it down the road every single mile....like it should be. They updated the TCM and I haven't had the crazy down shifts in traffic when towing or the fall on it's face experience when accelerating onto an interstate pulling 18,000lbs behind me. It would appear that the update solved a lot of the drivability issues. I didn't have a puddle of old oil on the concrete after the oil change like at the other dealerships. Its not to much to ask for the waste oil to be wiped from the undercarriage after an oil change and I appreciate that these guys at Lithia did that. Its the little things like that which gives you confidence that the mechanic cares about what they are doing and not just going through the motions. So that's three wins in a row. Now as far as the dead petal, It is still pretty dead when its 80+ degrees and not towing but it hasn't just laid there either like it used to. In cool weather 60'ish degrees it was never an issue so not surprising they didn't find that to be an issue. RAM/Cummins would do well to tune that out of the fueling map/torque management, Its dangerous. My 2014 2500 Cummins and 2018 3500 Cummins were not even close to this bad. I am sure if I had mentioned it was temp related they would have picked up on it. Anyway the fact that the tires will last longer than 20,000 miles and that I don't have to guess what the truck is going to do when driving it is a win all around. Would I take it back to them Absolutely. Do I think they care about the customer Absolutely. When the service advisor actually listens to you instead of arguing with you well isn't that the way its supposed to be?...Thanks Chris, your the man, much appreciated.
