Jim Trenary Chevrolet
Dealership Service Review
The service after the sale with Trenary is the worst that I have ever experienced! I purchased a new Chevy Colorado from Trenary last July . I ran my truck through a carwash 4 days after buying and the blowers at the end of the wash caused a dent in my roof . Come to find out there there was a bulletin put out by GM stating that there is a defect in the roof structure and they will repair the dent and reinforce the structure of the roof . I called the service department at least 6 times to schedule a repair . All I got was the run around . I continued to call a few more times and also emailed numerous times and got no reply . Drove to the dealership thinking I would get somewhere that way . All I got was we will get back with you when a loaner car comes available . Two weeks later , nothing . Calls and more emails still nothing ! So I go over their head and contact GM customer service. I spoke to Sharn’e and she was great . She called me back a few hours later and told me that she got ahold of Trenary and they would be getting with me in a day or two . Four days later still nothing from Trenary . So I get in contact with GM (Sharn’e ) again so instead of going through Trenary she sends me numbers of other Chevrolet dealerships close to me . I contacted Jansen Chevrolet in the small town of Germantown Illinois . I spoke to Eric Detmer the service manager there and he scheduled an appointment to do the repairs . I didn’t buy from them but yet Jansen treated me as if I have purchased many vehicles from them . So basically what I’m saying is , Stay away from Jim Trenary Chevrolet!! Their service after the sale is non- existent!!
