Joe Machens Ford Lincoln

working in the Broadcasting field I get to see some dealer sales before the public does. I notice that Joe Machens was having a down right good sale for the end of the year models. I went down to check out what they had. The 2003 ZX2 cought my eye. After looking it over it was time to go get a salesman. He took the time to explain the car and it's features. He was concerned about me driving a manual car, but that was quickly resolved. The purchase was very low pressured and everything moved along quite quickly. With check in hand the deal was made. As impressed as I was with the sales side my impression of the service side was not as good. I moved to Nebraska about a year after i purchased the car. My last time I was there (oil change) in 2006, they discovered all kinds of problems with the car. I took it to another Ford dealer (Diers Ford in Fremont, NE) and they said everything was good. I would buy another car from Joe Machens, if I still lived in Missouri, but as far as service I'd go somewhere else.
