Dealership Sales Review
There is a difference between saying "We want you to walk out of here a satisfied customer, customer service is our number one priority" and actually following through with it. We purchased a used vehicle last month from Carlson, and had terrible customer service. The first test drive ended with the salesman saying, "park it in the back over there, unless you are going to buy it right now." Bold. We went in the next day, and the same salesman greeted us, and asked how he could help us. We said we'd like to look at the car again (we stated the color and model that we had driven with him in the back the day before). He asked, "Oh, okay, do you remember who helped you with that yesterday?" We said.....yes......you did. And he still didn't remember us. We liked the car, so after agreeing on a price, we made the purchase. The car was washed and ready to go. We got into the car and noticed that the gas tank was empty. I went in and asked the sales manager if they filled the gas tanks when people spend over $20,000 on a used car. He said, "no, we only fill the tank on a new car, why would we fill the tank on a used one?" Hmmm.....maybe for good customer service??? After going home, we noticed that our tabs expired in 30 days. After calling, we were told oh, yeah, they are on order, and we'll mail them to you as soon as they arrive. 2 weeks later, I had to call and ask, and we were told to come and pick them up, they would not be mailed out. It has been almost a month, and we've had ZERO follow up on our purchase. They have not called, emailed, or anything to see how things are going with the vehicle. Overall I am not impressed at all with the level of customer service that we received at Carlson Toyota. We would not recommend them, and would never purchase another vehicle from them again.
