Todd Wenzel Buick GMC Of Davison
Dealership Service Review
I brought my truck in for a quick oil change, like I’ve been doing for the last several years. The time had come for a fuel filter change too so I expected it to be similar in cost to the last time I had it done - $146 (I have the receipt). This time the bill was over $287. The fuel filter went up in price about 20% and they charged me for 45 minutes of labor in addition to the oil change. I was there less than 30 minutes. For some reason it took a diesel mechanic to change it this time, when no labor was charged last time, so I got charged $65 to change the filter. So the guy who changed my oil and checked all major systems couldn’t change the fuel filter while he was under the hood already? Dumb, dumb, dumb.I spoke with both the quick lube manager and the service manager — the answer was “tough”. I won’t be going back. It would seem that nickel and dining customers is more important. I’m voting with my dollars and going somewhere else.
