Quirk Chevrolet

On Sunday, July 27, 2008, I walked onto the Quirk lot and started searching for a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. I was searching through their inventory and comparing the vehicles side by side for about an hour. No salesperson ever came to greet me. So, after much time on the lot, I decided to go into their showroom and meet with a salesperson. Well, that was the idea anyway. I walked in and after about 5 minutes, a salesperson approached me and said "Did you find what you're looking for? I saw you looking at the trucks...I'm with some customers but will be right with you."I said "ok" So... I sat down for 45 minutes in a chair, while the other salesmen walked around casually and chatted amongst themselves. By this time, my girlfriend was starting to get extremely irritated and aggravated. After over an hour, that same salesperson came over and said "Has anyone helped you yet?" Obviously "No" was my response. He then turned to a salesperson named "Habib" and asked him to help us...HE DIDN"T EVEN MOVE OR SAY I"LL HELP!!!! And for the record, this Habib [violative content deleted] had been sitting at his desk for over 45 minutes doing NOTHING! So, we decided to get up and walk out. As we did, a couple who was filling out paperwork for a purchase said "Wow, nobody greeted you or came to talk to you? That's awful...how pathetic!!!" I am still in disbelief. I've never walked into a car dealership and not been greeted or approached by a salesperson. They're usually jumping at you. Not the case here. Hell, I have no idea how this place sells vehicles. Maybe that's why there's so many on the lot!? In a time where the economy sucks, you would think a sales person would do everything they can to make a sale and make some money. Especially at a car dealership! I would recommend AGAINST giving any service to QUIRK CHEVY. Horrible experience and wouldn't give them my business even if they gave me a fantastic deal on a vehicle
