I recently visited Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel with the intention of purchasing a vehicle, but my experience was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The salesperson, Cody Parrott, who was supposed to assist me, lacked professionalism and basic courtesy throughout the process. From pushing me to decide on buying the car before even letting me test drive it, to giving me an extremely short and rushed test drive (barely 1 mile), it was clear that he wasn’t interested in providing proper service or giving me the time and respect a potential customer deserves. When it came time to discuss the price, Cody leaned back in his chair and made me feel like I wasn’t worth his time. I was presented with a price that included hidden fees that were not mentioned online. The price I was given included: An additional inspection fee of around $1,400 Some unknown package fee of $800 Plus the usual doc fees, taxes, and MVA fees This added a significant markup to the price I saw online, which felt misleading. I reached out to both the General Manager and the Internet Sales Manager, Brian Deckert, via email to share my concerns and provide feedback, but I haven’t received a single response from either of them. This lack of accountability and follow-up shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. If you're looking for a straightforward, hassle-free car buying experience, I strongly recommend Heritage Dealership instead. They have no hidden fees, and I was able to easily negotiate the price without the need for stressful back-and-forths or paying for unnecessary packages. It saved me time and effort, and I left feeling like my business was appreciated.
