Sheehy Ford Lincoln Of Gaithersburg

I have taken my Focus to this dealer three times now. I thought I had trust in their knowledge and skill. The last time I took my car here, I had a complicated problem involving my check engine light and my transmission was slipping. After the first day of them having my car....they had no idea what was going on; ok I understand there was a lot going on. By DAY 3 they were still giving me the run around. They were also extremely rude to me and talked down to me because I am a girl. I got my dad involved and I'm guessing because he is a man, they finally got their act together and told us my transmission was done. Well it was not worth it to fix the transmission, so I went out and bought a brand new car (NOT A FORD). Well my dad took my car to an automotive school and guess what....my transmission was fine!!! My car just needed a different sensor and some computer adjustment. I BOUGHT A NEW CAR BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE!!! I can't believe that students fixed my car in one day where these "professionals" couldn't figure it out after three days and then misdiagnosed it on top of. Did I mention that I spent $300 dollars for this misdiagnosis on top of the brand new car I bought because I trusted their opinion. My advice....DO NOT take your car to Sheehy Ford for service...EVER!
