Jerry's Toyota
Dealership Service Review
I purchased a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross from Jerry's Toyota in July 2023, but in less than a year, I have faced serious safety issues. The car has unexpectedly shut down multiple times: first in May 2024 and twice more in June 2024.May 2024 Incident: While stopped at a red light, my car's dashboard displayed "Engine shut down," and the engine turned off. I managed to restart it by putting it in park and pressing the start button. June 2024 Incidents: While at a stop sign, the dashboard displayed "Engine Stopped" and "Power Steering Low." Despite capturing a photo and contacting Jerry's Toyota, no resolution was provided. These incidents have made me extremely anxious about driving the car. Customer Service Experience: When I took the car in for maintenance, I was informed that if the problem couldn't be diagnosed, I would be charged $175, despite the car being under warranty. I was asked to sign a consent form agreeing to this charge. June 19, 2024 Service Visit:I left my car for inspection, but upon returning, I was told no issue was found, and I would need to pay $175. During my interaction with Jessica Montoya, I felt humiliated. She implied my refusal to pay was a character flaw and suggested I take my car elsewhere for service. Her attitude and refusal to provide a business card were unprofessional and insulting.
