A dealership long dreamed of ...
Written by 08/24/2014
onWhen I was growing up, car dealerships and customers existed in antagonistic worlds to each other. The salesperson wooed you in as a customer, made a sale, then joined the rest of the staff in denying you as much as possible of the benefits you were due. This was thought to be the proper course of the business model since once the sale is made, the business saves money by denying or delaying benefits such as warranty and service. Thank god for companies such as Ed Martin, who recognize that it's the long-haul customer that provides sustainable profits. I value my status with Ed Martin each time I seek service. You can't buy this respect.
