Unlike the salespeople for many automobile purchases I have made, Idris McPherson listened to what I wanted and didn't try to pressure me into something I didn't want. The process was explained well throughout and I was able to get the exact car I had set out to purchase at a fair price without spending much time haggling over the deal. Most salespeople focus only on monthly payments. I told Idris when I walked in the door that being in the financial profession I wasn't interested in the monthly payment, rather the overall cost. I have tried this with others, and they just can't get over the payment (to get me into something I didn't need or necessarily want). They seem befuddled when I ask to see the deal written up so I can see the bottom line rather than a monthly amount I will have to pay. Idris did exactly what I asked and I was able to deal with financing after the deal was complete giving me more confidence the deal was done in an upfront and transparent manner. Idris is personable, knowledgeable about the products he sells and easy to work with. I would recommend him for anyone looking to purchase an auto from Napleton's in Urbana, IL.
