River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
Dealership Service Review
Very attentive service Dec 2019. But... I am almost 60 yrs old and have purchased/traded for a NEW vehicle every 4 years for well over 25 years. This is my 3rd Wrangler. (First 2020 Sahara Altitude purchase at Riverfront) I have never experienced not being able to make an appointment for an oil change at the dealership where I purchased a vehicle, ever. I am not a fan of, "First come, first served", and wait in line?? fyi, I purchased the most expensive additional warranty coverage. The following day, while driving to Wis, the notification on my dashboard alerted me that my windshield washer fluid was low. Shouldn't the washer fluid have been filled/topped off the day before when my oil and tires were rotated? Then, four days later, (still in Wis) the low tire pressure indicator went on. My first reaction was, did I run over something? So, I went to the nearest station and checked the pressure on all tires. The back left was low at 28 PSI. According to the required PSI which I read on the door frame, the PSI should have been 38 PSI. I ended up with very cold hands, putting air in all 4 tires, but the back left was unusually low. Again, I was surprised because this was 4 days after my service appt.?? Also, a few days later I called a Jeep dealer in Wis to get a quick verbal lesson on proper tire inflation for my Jeep in cold weather. Also, unrelated to my service appt, the salesman that I made the deal with, that I spent well over 2 hours with, and eventually financed $46 000. with on a trade in, happened to walk through the service dept twice, making eye contact with me once, without a hello. Granted, we were wearing masks, yet, I clearly saw him as well and thought maybe he would say hello. Maybe the service dept should communicate with the salesman that successfully sold a NEW vehicle to a new buyer at Riverfront with a first or second time service appt ... maybe the salesman could take time to say "hello" and touch base with the buyer if they are not busy with a sale. Do I regret purchasing a Jeep? Absolutely not. I am extremely happy with the vehicle.
