Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake

My son has been looking for a car for the past 2 months. We recently visited a Honda dealer in Gurnee, IL. Worse experience ever, how can a dealership still sell a car over MSRP? My son found a new Honda Civic SI he liked and spoke with a nice female sales person at this Gurnee dealership. My son and I did see a $1,500 mark up for some kind of paint protection and a $2,000 "market adjustment" on the window sticker. I thought this was just a sales pitch and they would take it off, selling it at MSRP. Nope. After speaking with the sale person and the Manager Pete, they would not give up the $2,000 markup. They did drop the $1,500 paint protection cost but not the markup. They wouldn't even drop the mark up by $1,000 so he left. They said the SI is a rare car so they can charge a markup. I will NOT recommend a Honda dealership in Gurnee, IL. Go to Crystal Lake! We called Brilliance Honda and they sold us the same car for MSRP, no markup and no hidden fees!!
