Dealership Service Review
Here's my recent experience, at Napleton River Oaks Hyundai in Calumet City, IL. I would like to thank the Service Team, collectively, for the dis-service and mis-treatment I received on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at around 11:00-12:00 noon. I would especially like to thank the Associate Service employee that told me, it would take your dealership "2 weeks or more, to even diagnosis my vehicle, before someone on your mechanical team even took a look at it". Myself and the Tow Truck driver attempted to leave it, in spite of, and again was told "I could not leave my vehicle, at your dealership because there wasn't a spot available to leave it". I patronized Napleton River Oaks Hyundai, because it is a local dealership in my community, and it would have been more accessible, sensible and of a convenience to have it serviced at your dealership, in Calumet City, IL. I understand businesses have schedules and time slots that they have to adhere to but, to not be given the slightest opportunity and consideration for a reasonable request such as the one I had, was unacceptable. I ended up having my vehicle towed home, and then re-towed again, but this time, to Webb Hyundai, in Highland, IN. They were able to diagnosis my vehicle the following business day, and discovered I had safety recalls on my vehicle, in which they were able to repair, and have my vehicle ready the very next day. Free of charge to me of course, but I am sure they were compensated by Hyundai Corporation, in some form. So again, please give a personal thanks to the "kind associate staff person, with the locks in his hair, on your service team", as well as advising him, that if he continues in treating customers in this manner, then customers like myself, will have no choice but to resort in taking our business elsewhere, and out of our communities. Like I did. Thank you, and have an amazing day.
