Dealership Sales Review
My wife and I have been shopping for months looking for the perfect truck to tow our 34 foot camper. Most sales people only know what is on the window sticker and not much more. I knew going in what type of suspension I wanted, the size differential gears I wanted, and how long of a truck I wanted. At some other dealerships, they were trying every stale tactic in the book. We even got the bait and switch once. Shady dealers advertise cars and trucks that don't exist. Then when they get you in the door to look at it, they will tell you that someone will bring it up for you Then while you wait, they are getting all of your information. But, when they finally bring it up, it's not the right one. In fact, that one never really existed in the first place. By then, an hour has gone by. Fast forward to calling Advantage about a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500. My wife and I met with Andre Thomas. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and listened when we told him what we wanted. They only had one truck in my price range. It was a nice truck but I wanted the same truck in the LT model, instead of the Custom. But they didn't have any LT's. They only had the LTZ and the one Custom. Instead of pushing me towards one that they had on the lot, Andre sensed that I was only interested in a specific truck and he respected my wishes. He sat us down and showed us the different price ranges between trim models. Then he said he asked Advantage to make a trade to get an LT from another lot. Less than a week later, the perfect truck was on their lot at a price that was exactly where he said it would be. They were transparent with their discounts and how they are advertised. It was a quick and painless process. Because they have integrity as people, I will be an Advantage customer for life.
