Dealership Sales Review
My wife and I had just dropped off peperwork at our credit union when she said "do you just want to go over and look." I knew where she meant, because she had purchased her last 2 cars from Honda Windward. I was hesitant because we had our 4 1/2 month old puppy in the car with us, but said "OK." I had spoken with James Igawa earlier in the day to make sure they had Fit models in stock. He was still there @ 6 pm when we arrived, he was busy when we got there, but came out and told us he'd be with us in a couple of minutes & to feel free to look around the showroom. The receptionist saw my wife outside walking our dag and told me we could bring her in if we wanted to. James was back in just a few minutes and showed us the new features on the 2010 Fit (we already have a 2007). He & I went for a quick drive to their storage lot & checked out the models they had there. On the way he asked how we were planning to pay for the car. I told him we were pre-qualified with our credit union. He asked if we would be interested in financing with Honda if they could give us a better rate. We were qualified for 4.75% with the credit union & he said Honda might be able to give us as low as .9% if our credit scores were good (I knew that they were). The next thing I knew we were back @ the dealership and talking money and what color car & accessories I wanted. There was now pressure and it was a very smooth process. Mahalo to Honda Windward and their staff & salesmen they are a good people & a good place to buy a car!
