Dealership Sales Review
I bought a 2020 Escape on Saturday 14 Nov. I was discussing taking delivery that day, the sales rep informed me that there is a back up camera recall and I couldn’t take delivery that day. He told me that the Escape should be ready by Monday or Tuesday. I called him Monday and the salesman informed me that part was being shipped and the car will be ready between 3-5 days. Yesterday, I spoke to the car salesman. He informed me that the part had not arrived and I could not take delivery until next week, almost 2 weeks from when I purchased! My question is, why didn’t Cutter Ford have the replacement part on hand if they knew there was a recall? Or shouldn’t they have known there is a recall?
