Dealership Service Review
I dropped my 2007 CRV off last Saturday at Honda Carland on Thornton Road for a 9:00 appointment. It was there to have all 5 lugs and lug nuts replaced on the front left wheel. I was told I would be contacted in a few hours with an estimate. I never received that call and later at 1:00 that afternoon I called the service department to see if it was ready. I was told it wouldn't be fixed because the parts would have to ordered on Monday and would not come in until Tuesday. I asked the service agent why was I not told about this, but didn't really get an answer other than parts were not available. So, Tuesday afternoon I went to pick the car up and was shocked to see a nearly $650 repair bill just to replace 5 lugs and lug nuts. The girl I picked the car up from was not the original person I had been dealing with. She knew I was very angry because I was never told it would be that much. She was kind enough to reduce the charges by 15%, but that doesn't excuse my entire bad experience. Very undecided if I will ever bring this car back to the dealership again.
