Charged for parts not even an option on my F150
Written by 01/05/2022
on2013 F150 with 108k miles. Scheduled a 100k service online for $581. Off the bat the price went up as soon as I talked to the Service Advisor onsite. After their first once over, they insisted I needed a new battery ASAP - for $189. Once the final bill came, I was charged for a cabin filter - that isn’t even installed on my truck. What if I didn’t know that? What if I didn’t read the bill? What do I not know about my F150 that they also slid in there? I chose a Ford Dealership for service because they work on trucks every single day. The entire process left me feeling taken advantage of + overcharged. I will find a different place for future maintenance.
