New Battery
Written by 01/03/2025
onMy battery died and I took it to Rick Hendrick's because I wanted to make sure it was only the battery. Right off the bat I was told it was a $250.00 to run a check on the vehicle's system but if I opted for the repair, they would wave that charge. My GMC Arcadia is 2020 which I purchased in March of 2021 and only has 34500 miles on it. The battery was the problem, and I choose to have it replaced to the tune of $419.49. They charged me $75.00 labor and $300 plus for a battery. Nothing was pro-rated because the battery was over 3 years old. I paid for the battery change because I felt that $250.00 for the diagnostic was overpriced. Not that the battery was no overpriced.
