We went on Edmunds to request a quote from the dealers in our area on a 2013 Sonata. One answered a day later with a generic greeting and no quote. The other one didn't answer. We went to the dealer in Vero Beach and saw that they had added on an extra $4,500 to the sticker price for "availability" and "dealer prep". We went back to Edmunds and expanded our dealer search area, hit enter and within five minutes received a call from Randy Selph at St. Augustine Hyundai. I told him exactly what I wanted, agreed on a price for my trade in and proceeded from there. He had the car trucked in to his dealership from the dealer just up the way from me that didn't answer my first quote request. Randy found $1,400 in dealer discounts that were available at the time. The car that he found had some extras on it that I didn't need and he included them in the original price. The price that I was quoted by Randy originally was "out the door", tax, tags, title, everything and it never changed as the process continued. When we picked up the car, everything went smoothly. In two hours we were on our way. Trade in accepted, finance set up completed, instructional demonstration of the car's systems given (even setting up my phone and my wife's phone for the cars bluetooth), and a full tank of gas. A follow up call the next day to see if there was anything additional that we needed. Everyone at the St. Augustine dealership that we came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. It was well worth the 300 mile round trip to purchase this car and would not hesitate to recommend the St. Augustine Hyundai dealersip to anyone in Florida who is in the market for a new Hyundai.
