AutoNation Ford Margate
Dealership Service Review
I made an appointment for 8:00 am to do some recalls, and service. But was told that it would be later in the day just to do the inspection for one of the recalls and not both. Although the service rep did order one part that was needed, it still would take A Day or so to do the actual work. I am too far away for you to take me home or pick me up I am 75 years old, and I don't have anyone to drop me off or pick me up. and too damned old to sit there all day. I have been buying my cars and trucks from this dealership since they opened. It was Mullenax, prior to AutoNation. At least 5 trucks, as well as 5 cars for my wife. We have been loyal customers, to this dealership. And I think I deserve to be treated as such. And if this is the way you are going to treat A very, very, loyal customer then I will find another dealership. Also, I bought an extended warranty from Ford, for my truck, because I had planned some extended travel around the U S. and probably would be putting more mileage, on my truck than I have on any of my other vehicle's. Now I just found out that I was sold A warranty from AutoNation. And would have to go to an AutoNation dealer. for warranty work. How am I supposed to find one of your dealerships if i am in the mountains out west. This is the first time I have ever had anything negative about this dealership. But I feel slighted somehow. I have never owned any other car but fords my whole life. and that started back in the 60s, with my first new car. A 1966 ford Fairlane and have bought A new car every five years since then. Prior to that I owned 2 ,1957 fords, A 1958 ford ,2, 1961 ford Starliner's. A 1963 galaxy, A 1965 Galaxie. And in the last twenty years I have restored A 57 ford, A 63 ford, A 56 ford, A 64 falcon, A 64 Fairlane A 65 galaxie, A 61 Starliner, and . A 1967 mustang. If that isn't loyalty to A brand, I don't know what is. So, I think that treating any customer like this is not right. I feel specially ignored. How can you make an appointment for work and then be told, they would have to keep it to see if you actually need the recalls done, and then they would have to keep it all day or most of the day to do the work, so I would need to make arrangements for that, because we can't give you A loaner or pick you up and drop you off, you're on your own dude, your just another person to this dealership, and that $65000.00 pickup you bought from us, is just another number for us, don't matter that you have spent your life buying fords. Or buying from US year after year.
