Dealership Sales Review
I had an excellent car buying experience at Liberty Honda, something I did not expect to have when shopping for a car. I called them after I looked for a 2013 Honda Fit at another dealership and didn't get the deal I was looking for. I called Liberty Honda and gave them my price range: immediately they were able to find a Honda Fit at that exact price point. I also asked for free floor mats, they were able to throw them in after I negotiated strongly. When I went to buy the car, I needed a ride to the dealership, and was picked up by one of the salesmen, Michael H. He was extremely courteous and friendly, and we had an easy time making conversation all the way to the dealership. I told him I was from out of state and also in need of car insurance, and while I waited at the dealership for the car to be prepped, he let me use his phone to call and set up car insurance. The Finance guy I talked to, Nate, was also very kind and respectful. I was under no pressure to buy any of the add-on options he discussed with me, and when I turned them down he didn't try to get me to change my mind. I was still working on getting my connecticut registration as I bought the car, so the dealership let me drive off the lot with dealer plates, which I was allowed to keep for 7-10 days as I navigated the DMV. Luckily, I came back the next day, got registration figured out, got my plates, and was completely ready to go! I also had a TPMS system reset, because the light came on as I had been driving. The maintenance staff was quick and informative, and true to the warranty, I wasn't charged at all for the check-up. I would definitely go back to Liberty Honda to purchase another car in the future.
