I purchased a used car, and a "top of the line" extended warranty, knowing that I could get service at any Autonation service shop at least while the warranty was in effect. It was a rare smart move on my part...as I tend to buy warranties and not need them or not buy them and regret it. In this case, having the warranty paid off as I brought in the car with a host of issues that were individually minor, but collectively could have cost thousands more in the long run. The staff have always been friendly and taken the time to listen to my concerns, and interpret my non-mechanic-speak into actionable research and repair. The actual repairs did take quite a bit longer than the initial estimates, partially due to the warranty process and the shipment of parts as well as the volume of other repairs in progress. We had some issues at the beginning of the process with ETR and keeping informed of progress...but the general manager and the service manager reached out to me personally, listened to my frustrations, shared their concerns, and smoothed my ruffled feathers. In the end, while I was frustrated with how long the car was in the shop, the quality of the work was excellent and I couldn't be happier with my choice of car and dealership.
