I visited AutoNation in Denver to check out a Powerwagon. I had been interested in upgrading from my Ram 1500 Rebel, which I had only had for over a year. My inquiry started through the internet, where I connected with James M. in sales. I met with him the following day, took the Powerwagon for a test drive, and started negotiations. James was easy to work with and directly answered my questions and concerns. I had a bit of sticker shock at the auto loan interest rates as I have never in 35 years of car buying (~20 cars) paid more than 3-4%, and usually, I've had a 0% option. They worked extra on my trade, and I think I got a fair deal in the end. Next came taking delivery of the Powerwagon. I arrived at the dealer with a bed rack and rooftop ten installed on my Rebel. The initial thought was that since the bed width of both trucks was the same, moving it over would only require some muscle. It was much more challenging than that. Several guys who came over to help James and me make the transition were Justin, Luke, and Angel. After almost two hours of sweating in nearly 100-degree high-altitude sunshine and searching for a security wrench, the team got it done! The sales team at AutoNation went the extra mile to get me out the door. I appreciate their effort and help. Overall working with these guys was an excellent car-buying experience!
