I bought my Mercedes-Benz here earlier this year and added the PermaPlate warranty, which was supposed to cover cosmetic issues like seat tears. I noticed a large tear the day after purchasing the car. The salesperson told me to wait a month before submitting a claim — that advice turned out to be completely wrong. When I finally submitted the claim, it was denied because it should have been done within 30 days. So the warranty I paid for was useless due to their misinformation. I spent months calling the dealership, getting passed around and ignored until i finally got ahold of the manager - John Carandang - who assured me the issue would be fixed…. he then ghosted me until I emailed upper management and threatened to escalate the issue to Mercedes-Benz USA. After all that, the seat repair I received was unbelievably sloppy — crooked hand-stitching, loose threads, clearly not done to any professional standard. It looks worse than before and definitely won’t last. I could’ve done a better job myself with a needle and thread. This is not what you expect when buying from a luxury brand. Zero accountability. Poor communication. Rushed work. Don’t waste your money or your trust here — go somewhere that actually values their customers and stands by what they sell.
