First, during our testing and thinking about the car, our salesman, Bishoy, never once pressured us or made us feel unwelcome, even though we are reluctant buyers and asked him tons of questions. This was helpful, and a noticeable difference from many of the other dealers we visited during out hunt for a new EV. Second, the financing process with Sam was pretty easy. One pressure tactic there that I did not appreciate, but I've never been through an auto finance session without some version of an up or extra pitch that's presented as a way to "save" money. I'll bet you haven't either! One thing, Sam: you rushed a bit, and after the event I realized I should have taken more time to understand every signature; sometimes, it's OK to slow down. Third, and this IS a first (in 45 years of car buying!): Bishoy offered us a tutorial session a couple of days after the sale to help us make the most of our new i4. It's a complex machine, with a ludicrous feature set, so we're heading off to that later this morning looking forward to driving with more confidence and ease after this thoughtful, customer-centric perk.
