Dealership Sales Review
We purchased a new 4 dr Mini in June with a BMW Extended Warrantee 2 wks later, it was totaled when a landscape company t-boned it. Car was great and we lived w/concussions but no major physical injuries. We realized we could get the BMW Warrantee cost reimbursed since it was totaled--so we went to the dealership at the beginning of Aug and filed the paperwork w/Finance Dept. They said it would take 2 months. We called BMW Warrantee and they told us they had sent the Dealership a check on 9/21/15. We called the Dealership beginning of Oct--but they don't have voicemail so we left a message for Finance Dept. No return call. We called again and eventually got a call back that the money was in Texas and hadn't been sent to them yet. We called two weeks later, left messages to the point the receptionist remembered us--no call backs. We left a message for the General Manager no call backs. We then called BMW and a great Manager personally took us on and contacted the dealership over 3 weeks ago asking them to expedite our check. No check. We called BMW again last week (11/6), she again called the Dealership and as of today (11/13 no response). We were first time buyers from this Dealership and loved our Mini--but if this is how they treat their customers--who will need to buy a new car once all the insurance is taken care of, they obviously are not interested in return business. Consider this if you are thinking of buying from them--once you drive off the lot, they don't seem to be too interested in you being a good reference!
