Concord Honda
Dealership Sales Review
I purchased the car through Costco, so the experience was a breeze. Max (sales) was willing to give me numbers via text/email as I live 1.5 hours away from the dealership. Within half a day, my husband and I confirmed that we would drive down the following day to pick up the car. The grounds were clean, the building immaculate and we were treated with respect the moment we arrived. Marlon (finance) explained everything as we were signing and there was zero pressure to purchase “extras”. The only issue I have is upon getting the keys, Max showed the basics: where the spare tire was, how to connect the phone, how the fob works, etc, then asked if we had any questions. Why, yes, I had a LOT of questions on the dashboard interface and the corresponding computer display, as it was overwhelming and radically different than my 14 year old Honda, that I didn’t know where to start. I really think there should be a person within the organization that could spend 30 minutes to an hour explaining the interface and the hybrid aspects of the dashboard before you drive off the lot. This would be extremely beneficial whose interfaces from their prior vehicle were analog and are now switching to completely digital. Once I got home, I tried reading the manual and was overwhelmed - there are a gazillion settings, options (both physical and digital), and getting used to the new dashboard/steering wheel features have been a challenge. (My husband watched videos online upon our return home which helped immensely.) The only issue I have with the car itself is that there is no integrated garage door opener - that has been a built-in feature with every car I’ve driven since the late 90s. For this Accord, you have to download an app and **pay for the privilege of opening your garage door**. Come on, Honda, you can do better!
