Don't Trust this Dealer

I recently made a trade at a dealership for a Mercedes Benz sedan, giving up my Mercedes Benz SUV. During the transaction, I noticed that the main drive belt in the sedan was in bad shape. When I brought this to the dealership's attention, they refused to replace it, citing that they were already taking a loss on the car. Despite their stance, I brought the car home and called a mobile mechanic to replace the belt. The mechanic informed me that the dealership should have caught and replaced the belt during their inspection, as a broken belt could have led to engine damage, cost of the belt and labour done by myself was 450 plus taxes. i would never buy any other car from this dealership nor any 2nd hand car. BUYER BE WARE get an independent inspection done .
