Bell Honda
Dealership Sales Review
Had a relatively painless sales experience; however, old school tactics are still used. You just have to be [violative content deleted] more stubborn than they are. Was able to buy a 2009 CR-V at $500 below invoice with tint being the only add-on I agreed to pay for. It is amazing how quick Zaktec, Appearance Package and Market Adjustment seem to fade away when things get serious, indicating to me that the dealership pays very little for these high profit add-ons. Now for the [violative content deleted] in the deal - the Finance Department. They totally lied about the optional maintenance agreement stating that it covered maintainance items at intervals that Honda does not require. It is basically a prepaid agreement to change oil and rotate tires. They made a big deal about a special comprehensive inspection every 12,000 miles ( which they said cost $200) which sounded reasonable at the time. After purchasing the agreement I checked with the service department - NO such vehicle inspections are required by Honda!! And oil changes are required every 7500 miles not every 3000 miles as stated by the Finance dude. Stay away from Bell Honda. Unscrupulous dealers have no right to be in business in the current economic environment.
