On Sunday, March 16, 2014 I purchased a 2014 Nissan Versa with Larry H Miller Nissan. Now I'll be honest going in I didn't believe I would come out with anything because I am a college student who will obtain my degree in 6th months. However I am completing those classes online this summer and I am currently working a full time job that I would say I'm making pretty good money for someone that's just graduated and really only has rent to pay for that doesn't even take up 1 check. I had been in communication with Josh Sun from Larry Miller Nissan since about late September when I started looking for a car. I chose Josh and stuck with him because during the whole process he came off so genuine like his main goal was to get me a car. So finally end of February comes around and I tell Josh I'm finally ready to get this started, and we set a date for me to come in. Prior to going in I sent Josh everything he needed as well as doing the online credit application. When it came closer to going to the dealership I texted Josh and asked him was he sure that I didn't need a cosigner since this was someone I didn't have and had no way of finding anyone. He replied no so I went on to the dealership. Josh was with another customer and he told me his colleague Jon S was going to take over. I should've known with a last name like S I was SOL. Jon then started asking me all the obvious questions about how much I made, how much am I willing to spend and what kind of car. He then took me out straight to the Nissan Versa and since I was eligible for the college program he said it was the cheapest new car on the lot. Luckily for me it was also the car I had been looking at. We come back in to start the negotiation. I first said I could put down $1000.00, he came back and said 1300.00 with 320.00 payment each mo nth. All though I can afford this I didn't like the deal and! Jon see n it all on my face. He came back about 10 minutes later and said $500.00 down with a payment of $297.00 a month. This all sounded to good to be true and when asked could I think about it I was told no because I wouldn't come back. So I took the deal like any normal person would do. I had to then obtain my own insurance since I was moving from Ohio and was formally on my parents insurance. I picked the car up Monday evening when I was given the keys to my new car). Jon actually called me Monday evening and told me about a survey they send out and he wanted me to give him all 10s but be sure not to mention he pressured me. So the whole week goes by and Monday the 25th comes around and I get a call from the financial manager saying the loan fell through. This was just crazy to me he said I have to options come to dealership to revise contract or bring back the car. I am no fool and so I begin to look this up and find out that this happens everyday, but I'm sorry I can't let them get away with this. I want Nissan to be exposed they bamboozled me in just so they can make a sale.
